PERSONAL EXPERIENCE & BIOGRAPHY

Jessica Beiler, LCSW

Initiating therapy is the first step toward change. I appreciate you considering working with me.
As a psychotherapist, my goal is to provide you a safe and supportive environment to thrive. I seek to advocate for every client and provide the support and resources to better understand who you are, resolve inner and interpersonal conflicts, and live authentically in the world.
Before I moved into private practice, my field experience included working at addiction treatment centers and at the Department of Veteran Affairs, in the psychiatric inpatient units, medical centers, and geriatric and dementia specialty clinics.
I am a licensed clinical social worker and have been practicing since 2011. I graduated from University of Michigan, and received my master’s degree in Social Work from University of Southern California, concentrating in mental health with a sub-concentration in military service members, veterans and their families.

With social work as my foundation, I look at the person as a whole through the lens of the biopsychosocial model. I am skilled in working with mental health issues ranging from addiction, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and trauma, traumatic brain injuries (TBIs), neurocognitive disorders, depression, anxiety, bipolar, schizophrenia, and grief and loss. My expertise also integrates geriatric issues, end of life transitions, and interventions to support caregivers of loved ones with dementia.

I have a trauma focus in my therapy approach, and integrate Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy.
You, like everyone, deserve the chance to live your best life. With our work together, you will learn how you can achieve it for yourself.
