PERSONAL EXPERIENCE & BIOGRAPHY

Sari Tracht, AMFT

My mission as a therapist is to help you navigate through life’s complexities and challenges that may leave you feeling discouraged and disconnected. Together, we can embark on a journey of self-discovery, align with your true purpose, and heal old wounds.
I am a firm believer that therapy can transform your life. I know this because my own therapeutic journey has transformed mine. This is why I am deeply committed to helping people make meaningful changes by offering a safe and supportive, judgment-free, and–believe it or not–fun and enjoyable environment to do inner work and feel understood with a renewed sense of hope.
My background is in the entertainment industry as a film and television editor before heeding the call to become a therapist. I attended Antioch University Los Angeles and earned my Master’s in Clinical Psychology. I have experience in working with clients on a broad range of issues, but I specialize in trauma processing (PTSD, C-PTSD), moving through grief and loss (human, animal, and otherwise), managing eco-anxiety, codependency, and improving self-esteem and self-compassion. I am also an ADHDer and work closely with individuals and couples with neurodivergence and ADHD, especially tackling issues with catastrophizing and discouragement while highlighting creativity and other gifts.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in psychodynamic, depth, and cognitive behavioral therapy. Through this integrative approach, we will unearth and identify the origins of your behavioral patterns and negative core beliefs. Customizing therapeutic approaches to suit each client’s needs is a top priority for me. Therefore, we will work together to create your personalized treatment plan and regularly assess our progress along the way.
I strongly believe that within every individual lies the inner strength and resilience needed to transcend life’s obstacles. My role as your therapist is to facilitate and encourage personal growth, help you re-parent your child within, and provide unwavering support toward your greater well-being.
I truly appreciate the significance of beginning your therapeutic journey, and I commend you for taking this important first step. If you believe that I could be the right therapist for you, I would be delighted to connect and explore the possibility of working together. Please don’t hesitate to reach out and schedule a complimentary 15-minute consultation call. I eagerly await the opportunity to meet with you!
